Continuous Dosing - Pills Without a Monthly Period
Are there any disadvatages to taking the continuous or extended dose birth control pill?
Yes, they can cause more spotting between periods, especially the first few cycles that you are on the extended dose pills. The other side effects are similar to the traditional birth control pills. See here for more about traditional combination birth control pills.
