Endometrial (Uterine) Cancer
What are the symptoms of endometrial (uterine) cancer?

By far, the most common symptom of endometrial cancer is abnormal or heavy uterine bleeding. In over 90% of cases of endometrial cancer the first symptom is abnormal bleeding. Any bleeding that occurs after menopause must be evaluated to make sure it is not a sign of cancer. Do not ignore these bleeding symptoms, you should contact your doctor immediately if you have abnormal bleeding or bleeding after menopause. Other symptoms include:
  • difficult or painful urination
  • pain during sexual intercourse
  • pain in the pelvic area.
