Pap Test (Smear)
What is the Pap test?

A Pap test is a screening test done by your doctor during a pelvic exam.  It is a screening test done to identify people who may be at risk for developing cancer of the cervix.  By checking for abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix, your doctor can see if you are at risk. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina.
