Trichomonas
What are the symptoms of trichomoniasis?

Not everyone that is infected with trichomonas will have symptoms of the disease.  However, some of the common symptoms that are associated with trichomonas are:
  • frothy, green or yellow vaginal discharge with strong odor
  • itching around the vaginal opening.
  • redness and soreness of the vagina
  • burning when you urinate
  • pain in the vagina during sex.

Men usually do not have symptoms. Some men may occasionally have some mild irritation inside the penis and a mild discharge.
