Ectopic Pregnancy
What is the danger of having an ectopic pregnancy?

The primary danger associated with an ectopic pregnancy is bleeding.  When an ectopic pregnancy grows within the tube, it may rupture and cause significant intra-abdominal hemorrhage.  If a woman presents too late for medical care, this bleeding may not be able to be controlled and could lead to death.
