Ectopic Pregnancy
Will I be able to get pregnant again?

Many women who have had an ectopic pregnancy have successfully carried a normal, healthy pregnancy to term.  Women, however, with a history of an ectopic pregnancy do have an increased risk for developing an ectopic pregnancy in a future pregnancy, so it is important to consult your doctor as soon as you discover that you are pregnant.  You may need an early ultrasound to confirm that your pregnancy is safely located in the uterus.
